mkn coffee is an Indie/Alt. Rock project located in Dallas, Texas. Founded in the summer of 2021, their first single “Your Eyes” was released that September. mkn coffee’s influences range anywhere from 80’s Indie Rock to 2000’s Alternative Rock. They have since released seven singles and an EP titled The Get Down. The band started playing shows in July of 2022 and has since played 150+ shows in the DFW Metroplex. Notable venues consist of Rubber Gloves and Andy’s Bar in Denton, Club Dada and Double Wide in Dallas, and the Ridglea Theatre in Fort Worth. The goal of the band is to spread awareness and provide light for those who suffer from intrusive thoughts. As a lyricist, Blake incorporates personal experiences by sharing his struggles with OCD through honest melody; The members support his anthem with tailored instrumentation, creating an envelope for the message.
